Introduction
The ‘next page’ project was conceived to enable quadriplegics and those of limited mobility/dexterity to read electronically digitised books UNAIDED.
Utilising off-the-shelf wireless technology, we have devised a system which makes it possible to utilise an off-the-shelf Tablet PC with a free app, in order to open and turn pages of an e-book. HANDS-FREE.
Hardware
Each hardware item is available on the open commercial market and can be ordered online by you.
· 1st requirement.
Access to a Tablet PC utilising iOS or android platforms. ( I suggest A Samsung Galaxy tablet S3 /4 -
10.1 inch version for clearer font display)
· 2nd requirement .
A miniature Bluetooth transceiver which, when connected, will take the place of the tablet’s keyboard.
